MAW 2021 Postponed
Hi Music and Arts Week Family,
Due to continuing conditions with Covid-19, the MAW Design Team has voted to postpone MAW until 2022. Please understand that this decision was not made lightly. However, after reviewing all public health guidelines, we feel this is the best decision for the safety of our campers, counselors, and staff. One of our top priorities as the Design Team discussed the possibility of having MAW this year was to ensure that we could provide a quality, enjoyable program for our campers, and we ultimately felt that there were too many obstacles to make that happen this year.
We want to thank Camp Sumatanga for their support and willingness to work with MAW, and we encourage our campers to check out other Sumatanga programs this summer.
Please be on the lookout for updates about digital MAW camp content this summer as well as an in-person hike and picnic up the mountain (tentatively planned for a Saturday or Sunday in mid-July). More details on both to come!
The dates for MAW 2022 have not yet been set, but we anticipate the camp taking place sometime during the first two weeks of July, 2022. Please keep your calendars open for those two weeks. We can't wait to see you again!
